At Georgia Northwestern Technical College, our Financial Aid Office makes it easy for you to find all the money you will need to earn the education you deserve. GNTC offers grants and scholarships which do not have to be repaid. GNTC also offers federal student loans. All new students or returning students who have not registered with GNTC within the previous 12 months are required to attend a face-to-face New Student Orientation. Attendance at a face-to-face orientation is required before you can meet with an advisor to get your course schedule. Visit our Orientation page for information. - Programs of Study

Most students who enroll in GNTC study programs will need to take the ACCUPLACER test for admission and placement. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Program (WIOA) is a federally funded work training program that assists students who are currently laid off or students who have very low family incomes. The eligible student will be learning new skills for tomorrow’s workforce. WIOA may pay a small travel stipend or assist with childcare expenses to those who qualify. It may also pay for program-required tuition, fees, books, supplies, and/or other related materials within program limits.
